This month’s featured stylist comes again from VICI Caplli – Bayshore Salon!

David has been with VICI for three years and has earned a reputation as a meticulous stylist with an eye for detail and tight execution of client-requested looks.

“I love doing color, but really excel at hair cutting,” said David. “When someone brings in a photo or idea, I like to execute that particular look, I’m a perfectionist.”

David takes satisfaction from the reaction he gets from his guests after – and during – a cut when it’s obvious they loves the outcome.

“Whether it be the cut complementing the color and face shape, or further exposing the hair color, it’s very satisfying.” said David.

David prefers Unite products with his guests, saying he likes the sulfate, paraben and gluten free nature and the moisture level they provide hair.

A personal, practical touch is the hallmark of David’s work. “I can offer (guests) a style or haircut that suits their life style,” said David. “How would they wear it day today? Are they a punk rock kid? Do they have a corporate job?”

David was inspired to become a stylist from his passion for music and art, and was encouraged by a friend to try doing hair. (We’re thankful for that!).

“You get to meet a lot of beautiful people inside and out,” said David. “I just love what I do.”
