We’re so happy that we got to help lots of amazing students at Swanson Elementary in Brookfield donate hair to Children with Hair Loss. It was an amazing experience and we couldn’t believe how many students were ready to cut off their hair. Not only did a lot of students donate hair, but many of them have donated before! We loved their generosity.

Children with Hair Loss is an organization that creates hair pieces and extensions for children coping with hair loss due to any medical condition. All of their hair pieces are given to children in need at no cost to the families thanks to charitable donations. It’s an amazing foundation, and we’re glad we could help support the cause. We’re even more glad there were so many students who wanted to donate!

At the school, several of our Brookfield stylists pony tailed each students’ hair. Then we cut! After every student bagged their donation, they stood up and showed off their short hair to the entire school who cheered and celebrated. The whole student body was supportive and excited for the students donating. This was Swanson Elementary’s third year hosting this event, and we hope to be a part of it for years to come.

We couldn’t just chop off these girls’ hair and send them on their way. Instead, we invited every person who donated back to our salon for a complimentary haircut and style. Back to the Brookfield Salon

Because we were so amazed by the generosity of these students, we invited everyone who donated to come back to our salon so we could give them complimentary haircuts and styles. We think these girls can definitely rock short hair cuts!

Aren’t these students amazing? We had a blast and knowing that children with hair loss are going to get hair pieces because of it made it even better.
